Okaka-born Lawmaker said that the yuletide of Christmas serves as a unique season while all Christians come together as one for the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ.
He maintained that Christmas serves as an ideal opportunity for all Nigerians to come together, irrespective of religious affiliations, and foster a sense of togetherness, compassion, and mutual understanding.
He revealed that the season of Christmas is meant for show of generosity, kindness, and harmony to one another, and most especially the downtrodden ones in the society.
The APC Chieftain maintained that the yuletide is not only for celebration but also for deep reflection on how Jesus Christ was born and lived his exemplary life.
The Ex Federal Parliamentarian said, all adherents of Christianity should not forget love, oneness, togetherness and generosity to one another that Jesus Christ preached throughout of his life time.
He enjoined them all to celebrate in tandem with the purpose of this season, which is more of reflection on birth of Jesus Christ than merry making.
He however charged Christians and other Nigerians to use this unique season to pray for the betterment of Nigeria and success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Hon. Olabiyi enjoined them to celebrate with moderation and prayed that the current festivity will birth uncountable blessings and mercy to all.
