The Elero of Ilero, in Kajola Local Government, Area of Oyo State, His Royal Majesty Oba Wasiu Oyedele Saka Olokolonigi Ilufemiloye has felicitated the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Engineer Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde on the occasion of his birthday, wishing him long life, happiness and everlasting glory on earth.
He also wished the people of Oyo State and Ilero in particular happy Christmas and New year in advance.
Oba Oyedele Saka Olokolonigi commended the State Governor Engineer Seyi Makinde for his uncommon character and leadership acumen geared towards piloting the affairs of the state.
The monarch said Governor Makinde proved to be nothing but a messiah of this era sent by God to ameliorate the suffering of the masses and the entire people of Oyo State.
He stressed that the state governor in his ingenuity brought about unprecedented development to the state
According to him, Governor Makinde provides enabling environment for businesses to thrive and also recorded accelerated development with sterling records in all sectors of human existence.
The Elero of Ilero lauded the initiative of the state governor on road construction and rehabilitation across the state and charged him to capture the interest of the people of Ilero town at heart through the rehabilitation of Otu/Ilero,Ilero/Okeho roads and other axis that connects Ilero to their neighbouring towns.
Oba Oyedele Saka Olokolonigi rejoiced with Oke Ogun Traditional Council of Obas under the watch of Okere of Saki,His Majesty Oba Khalid Oyeniyi Olabisi and wished them happy Christmas in advance.
He congratulated the new Aseyin of Iseyin land Oba Sefiu Oyebola Adeyori lll Ajirotutu1 and urged the people of Iseyin to throw their weight behind the new monarch with a view to achieving his set goals.
Oba Wasiu Oyedele Saka Olokolonigi Ilufemiloye extended his sincere greetings to the people of Ilero and congratulated ilero sons and daughters home and abroad on the celebration of Christmas and new year and urged them to celebrate with moderation.
He also charged them to maintain existing peace and order in the council area and be security conscious.
