The Onidiko Ile in Iwajowa Local Government, Area of Oyo State, HRM Oba Alayelua Folaranmi Nicholas Oyelami JP has tasked Muslims to maintain love and peace among one another.
The Monarch made this admonition in a release issued on occasion of Eid el Kabir and made it available to acrossnigerianews.com
Oba Onidiko Ile maintained that love and peace are unavoidable antidotes that enhance progress and development.
He added that when those things are in place, there is every possibility that there would be limitless progress and development to all and sundry.
Oba Folaranmi Oyelami however extended felicitations to all Muslims in Idiko Ile, Iwajowa LG, Oke Ogun and Oyo State in general.
He noted that the endurance and perseverance of Prophet Ibrahim and his noble son(Ismail) was a great challenge that turns to celebration today.
He charged them all to persevere and endure any tribulation they might encounter, adding that there is comfort at the end of every bitter lesson.
He asked them to celebrate gently and deeply reflect on purpose that brought about the current celebration.
He prayed that the joy and happiness that connect with the ongoing festivity would not elude them.
The Monarch enjoined them all to use the current celebration of Eid el Kabir to pray for the nation and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in his quest for reformation that aligns with with the renewed hope agenda, and Governor Seyi Makinde in his quest to turn Oyo State to Eldorado.
As the Muslims celebrate the Eid, he prayed Allah to grant them fortunes, prosperity and longevity to witness many more ahead.
