Hon. Musbau Akintola Azeez, the distinguished Member representing Kajola State Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly, popularly known as ‘ACTION,’ today extended warm felicitations to Muslims worldwide on the auspicious occasion of Eid al-Adha, which auspiciously coincided with the weekly Jumu’ah prayers.
Speaking to journalists at the Eid ground in Okeho shortly after participating in the congregational prayer, Hon. Akintola Azeez passionately called upon all citizens, irrespective of their political affiliations, religious beliefs, or ethnic backgrounds, to embrace and prioritize love, oneness, and togetherness during this significant celebration. He emphasized the importance of these virtues in fostering a harmonious and progressive society.


The Okeho-born lawmaker also took the opportunity to offer his heartfelt congratulations to key individuals and groups whose collective efforts were instrumental in the recent establishment of the Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Okeho. He specifically lauded Senator Fatai Buhari, Professor Segun Gbadegesin, Hon. Najeem Oyeshina Oyedeji, and Ègbé Omo Ibile Okeho for their invaluable contributions to this landmark achievement, which is poised to significantly impact the educational landscape and socio-economic development of the region.
Reflecting on his legislative tenure and achievements, Hon. Akintola Azeez expressed profound gratitude to the resilient and supportive people of Kajola Local Government for their unwavering confidence and backing since his assumption of office. He reaffirmed his commitment to diligently serving their interests, pledging not to betray the trust reposed in him.
Highlighting some of his tangible contributions to his constituency, Hon. Akintola Azeez announced that he has successfully facilitated numerous employment opportunities for his constituents across various vital sectors of the Oyo State government. These include securing appointments within the Oyo State Road Traffic Maintenance Agency (OYRTMA), the Oyo State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), and the health sector, significantly impacting the livelihoods of many families.
Furthermore, he reminded the public of his earlier initiative involving the free distribution of customized exercise books to students, a project aimed at enhancing educational access and support. He assured his constituents that more such benevolent programmes are in the pipeline, with plans to organize a comprehensive empowerment Programme scheduled for July this year, designed to further uplift and capacitate members of his constituency.
