The leadership of Ẹgbẹ́ Àjọṣepọ̀ Fún Ìtẹsiwájú Gbogbo Wa has issued a formal apology over what it described as “inadvertent errors” contained in its press release dated November 10, 2025.

In a statement signed and made available to acrossnigerianews.com by the National Secretary of the group, Pastor Favour Adéwọyin, the association acknowledged two key errors and provided clarifications to address concerns raised by stakeholders and members of the public.
The first correction concerned the name of former Minister of Communications, His Excellency, Barr. Bayo Shittu, where Abdur-Raheem was mistakenly written as AbdulRahman. Describing the error as “purely typographical and unintentional,” the group expressed regret and appealed to the public to note the correction.
The second clarification addressed the omission of His Excellency, Dr. Muyiwa Gbadegesin, from the earlier release. The group explained that the initial draft of the statement had been completed before Dr. Gbadegesin’s interview with the association was conducted. Although an attempt was later made to update the document, his name was “inadvertently left out during the editing process.” The leadership extended a heartfelt apology and appreciated Dr. Gbadegesin’s “gracious understanding” of the situation.
Reaffirming its core principles, Ẹgbẹ́ Àjọṣepọ̀ Fún Ìtẹsiwájú Gbogbo Wa maintained that it remains strictly non-partisan and neutral, with no preference for any particular aspirant within the Òkèògùn political landscape. According to the statement, the group considers Òkèògùn itself as the collective candidate, pledging unwavering support to whichever aspirant from the zone eventually secures the mandate.
The group further called on all sons and daughters of Òkèògùn to remain united and avoid divisions along political, religious, or hometown lines, urging the public to speak with one voice and vote as one people in the collective interest of regional development.
The group expressed gratitude to the public for their support and prayers, concluding with a blessing for Òkèògùn and Oyo State at large.
