    Aspirant for the Oyo State House of Assembly representing Kajola State Constituency, Hon. Aleem Isa Oyinlola, has extended warm congratulations to Ègbé Omo-Ibile Òkehò, the Onjo of Okeho, and all indigenes of the ancient town as the 2025 edition of Òkehò Day entered full swing.

    The week-long celebration, which commenced on Sunday, 23rd November 2025, continues to draw indigenes and friends of Okeho home for a series of cultural, developmental, and social activities aimed at strengthening unity and advancing community growth.

    In a congratulatory message personally signed and made available to acrossnigerianews.com, Hon. Aleem Isa Oyinlola described the ongoing Òkehò Day festivities as unique, remarkable, and historically significant, noting that the celebration has once again reaffirmed the unbroken bond shared by sons and daughters of Okeho across the world.

    Oyinlola, who is aspiring to contest under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), commended Ègbé Omo-Ibile Òkehò for its unwavering commitment to the development of the town. He also praised the leadership and visionary guidance of the Onjo of Okeho, His Royal Majesty Oba Rafiu Osuolale Mustapha, whom he described as a rallying point for peace, progress, and cultural renaissance in the community.

    According to him, the collective efforts of the traditional institution, community associations, stakeholders, and the wider Okeho population have continued to place the town on a path of sustainable development. He added that the thoughtful planning of the 2025 Òkehò Day celebration demonstrates the community’s deep sense of responsibility, unity, and shared purpose.

    “The 2025 Òkehò Day is more than a cultural event; it is a statement of identity, pride, and collective progress,” Oyinlola said. “The foresight and dedication of Ègbé Omo-Ibile Òkehò, our revered monarch, HRM Oba Rafiu Osuolale Mustapha, and the entire indigenes reflect a rational and well-coordinated effort towards the continued transformation of our ancestral land.”

    He further noted that the ongoing activities lined up for the week would serve not only as entertainment but also as platforms for addressing key developmental needs, strengthening social ties, and inspiring future generations. According to him, Òkehò Day has grown into a prestigious annual event that showcases the town’s cultural heritage, celebrates its achievements, and positions it for brighter prospects.

    Hon. Aleem Isa Oyinlola also used the occasion to admonish youths to celebrate responsibly. While acknowledging their enthusiasm and vital role in the growth of Òkehò, he urged them to uphold the values and purpose behind the celebration, maintaining conduct that reflects the dignity of the community.

    On establishment of Federal University of Agriculture and Technology Òkehò (FUNATO), Isa Oyinlola thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator Fatai Buhari, Hon Oyeshina Oyedeji and Professor Segun Gbadegesin for their efforts.

    Conclusively, he extended heartfelt congratulations to The Onjo of okeho Oba Rafiu Osuolale Adeitan II , Apero omo okeho and people of kajola on this gigantic infrastructural development.
