Aspirant for the Oyo State House of Assembly representing Kajola State Constituency, Hon. Aleem Isa Oyinlola, has extended warm congratulations to Ègbé Omo-Ibile Òkehò, the Onjo of Okeho, and all indigenes of the ancient town as the 2025 edition of Òkehò Day entered full swing.

The week-long celebration, which commenced on Sunday, 23rd November 2025, continues to draw indigenes and friends of Okeho home for a series of cultural, developmental, and social activities aimed at strengthening unity and advancing community growth.

Aleem Isa Oyinlola described the ongoing Òkehò Day festivities as unique, remarkable, and historically significant, noting that the celebration has once again reaffirmed the unbroken bond shared by sons and daughters of Okeho across the world.
Oyinlola, who is aspiring to contest under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), commended Ègbé Omo-Ibile Òkehò for its unwavering commitment to the development of the town. He also praised the leadership and visionary guidance of the Onjo of Okeho, His Royal Majesty Oba Rafiu Osuolale Mustapha, whom he described as a rallying point for peace, progress, and cultural renaissance in the community.
According to him, the collective efforts of the traditional institution, community associations, stakeholders, and the wider Okeho population have continued to place the town on a path of sustainable development.
