Aspirant vying for a seat in the Oyo State House of Assembly, under the banner of People’s Democratic Party(PDP) for Kajola State Constituency, Hon. Aleem Isa Ajibola Oyinlola has extended his heartfelt appreciation to the concerned dignitaries and stakeholders on possiblity of the Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Òkehò(FUNATO).

In a press release shared with acrossnigerianews.com, the Okeho-born politician specifically thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator Fatai Buhari, Professor Segun Gbadegesin, and Hon. Najimdeen Oyeshina Oyedeji.He also acknowledged the significant contributions of the Egbe Omo-Ibile Okeho and other concerned parties.
Oyinlola described the collaborative efforts of Senator Fatai Buhari and Professor Segun Gbadegesin as exemplary, patriotic, and historic, noting that their work was pivotal in securing presidential approval for the institution.
He also praised Hon. Najimdeen Oyeshina Oyedeji and the Egbe Omo Ibile Okeho for their synergy and mutual understanding, which he said brought the academic institution to fruition.
The assembly hopeful highlighted the recent visit by officials from the National Universities’ Commission (NUC) and the Federal Ministry of Education to the temporary site of the university.
According to Oyinlola, this visit solidifies the fact that the long-held dream has now become a permanent reality. He thanked the people of Okeho, Kajola Local Government, and the entire Oke-Ogun region for the warm reception they gave to these educational stakeholders.
