Alleluyah, Ogunsola Praise PDP in Iwajowa LG, Seek More Support
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Iwajowa Local Government Area received a significant boost of commendation and a call for increased support on Monday, during the Senator Alleluyah Vanguard PDP Quarterly General Meeting held at the Palace Square, Iganna.
Key party figures, including the former Senator Hosea Ayoola Agboola Alleluyah and Honourable Ogunsola Anthony, lauded members for their steadfastness and continued dedication to the party’s progress.
Senator Agboola, while addressing party faithful, commended members for their unwavering loyalty and resilience, particularly given that not all have been considered for elected and appointed positions within the local government.
“Your commitment to the PDP, despite personal sacrifices, is truly commendable,” Senator Alleluyah stated.
“It is this spirit of dedication that will ensure the continued growth and success of our great party. I admonish you all to continue working tirelessly for the progress of the PDP, knowing that your efforts are vital.”
He further expressed profound appreciation for the party leaders and executives across the entire local government area, acknowledging their guidance and tireless efforts in mobilizing and organizing party activities.
Speaking at the same event, a Member of the Oyo State House of Assmbly, Honourable Ogunsola Anthony extended his heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, on his sixth year anniversary in office.
He lauded the Governor for what he described as “unprecedented infrastructural developments” across Oyo State.
“Governor Makinde’s administration has transformed our state with remarkable infrastructure projects,” Hon. Ogunsola remarked, adding, “These developments are a testament to his commitment to the welfare of the people and are truly worthy of celebration.”
Honourable Ogunsola also expressed his profound appreciation to party members for their steadfastness and unwavering commitment to the progress of the PDP.
He reiterated his personal commitment to fulfilling promises made during his electioneering campaigns, assuring the constituents of his dedication to their well-being.
In a direct appeal to the state government, Hon. Ogunsola highlighted critical infrastructure needs in the region.
He passionately appealed for the urgent fixing of the road linking Kajola and Iwajowa local governments, specifically the stretch from Okeho-Ilero to Iganna-Iwere Ile, which serves as the headquarters of Iwajowa local government. He also called for the swift completion of the Ijio-Ayegun Wasinmi border road.
The meeting concluded with prayers for the continued success of Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration and for the fulfillment of God’s promises in his life, underscoring the collective hope for sustained progress and development in the state.
Other personalities at the meeting include, the immediate former Iwajowa LG Chairman, Alh. Abdul Jelili Oyinloye; Alhja Saka Ganiya, all the former LG councillors, the party executives, ward and local, party leaders and members across the LG.
