Alado Issues Strong Warning to Families Masterminding Sales of Illegal Lands in Adora ways
Asks Buyers, Land Grabbers to Desist From Portions Belonging to Alado Ruling Houses, Indigenes
The Alado of Ado-Awaye, in Araromi Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in Iseyin Local Government, Area of Oyo State, HRM Oba Revd Ademola Olugbile Folakanmi has issued strong warning to alleged scammers and fraudsters who are masterminding the sales of illegal lands in the ancient town.
The monarch as a matter of urgency compelled the buyers and land grabbers who had occupied the parcels of lands belonging to Alado Ruling Houses and Indigenes to desist from the affected areas.
All Alado crown lands that situate, lying and being at Otanran, Egbooro, Ogboolasa, Baale Agbe, Akinlabi, Agelu, Olohunde, Aba Alado, Ireso, Ofipo, Alamo, Aba Apata, Yanta, Aba Aromole, Aba Sunday Cotonou, Aba Lanrele, Aba Sango, Akinlabi, Baale and Agbe.
Also, Ogbaagbaa, Papa Nsana, Onikainkain, Igboogboo, Alamo, Oloro, Tabiiti, Alata, Aba Oke Odo, Yanta, Isawuru, Aba Ogundipe, Arowomole, Araromi, Aba Lanrele, Abasango, Olaogun and Oluosun are to be desisted from, by the buyers and land grabbers.
The parcels of land that situate, lying and being at Opeki, Iroko, Ware, Oke-Are, Ologoji, Ologota, Aseko, Ogunda, Zioni, Olose, Okoto, Aagba, Balupana, Oyekoro, Tiro, Olosan, Wasinmi, Aba Paanu, Adekoola, Adegbola Oke, Adegbola Isale, Oniko and Atunwa.
Not only but also, Ogboolasa, Iserin, Amolegbe, Oba nase, Aboriso, Olukola, Bogun, Aba, and Oloya which are affirmed to be under the territorial control of Alado of Ado-Awaye,are by native right and inheritance belonging to the families of the members of Alado in Council namely: Aro, Balogun, Otun, Seriki, Alaagba, Aselu and other minors traditional chiefs under Alado prescribed authority of land are not for sale, and those illegal occupants are enjoined to desist from the areas.
Alado’s issuance of strong warning was in connection with the public notice by way of Caveat Emptor on Alado family land, Ado-Awaye published on Thursday, 19th April, 2018, page 8 of Nigerian Tribune, where Princes Mathew Oyedele, Olalere Adegoke, Olaoye Akanji, Taiwo Olaoye, Oyelami Ajayi and Gbadegesin Olakisokun claimed that Alado crown lands solely belong to their Oladunni Ruling Family.
The monarch while speaking with news men hinted that, on behalf of himself and the other three(3) ruling families of Alado Chieftaincy namely: MAKU, OLAOGUN and OLUSOSUN in a public notice though Caveat Emptor on Alado family lands, Ado-Awaye made a rejoinder disclaiming the ownership of Oladunni Family over the land and claimed that the said royal stool belongs to the four ruling houses.
Kabiyesi further disassociated himself with the sales of the portions of land in these areas to unknown buyers, and however warned the land grabbers and buyers to desist from the aforementioned areas.
Alado therefore warned buyers to beware of land speculators and asked them to keep off from buying land from any individual or group of people within or outside Ado-Awaye community, who may claim to be accredited representatives of Alado, Alado in Council, or traditional chiefs in Araromi LCDA without any consent as the chief legal custodian of landed properties, the consent of members of Alado in Council and other traditional chiefs aforementioned.
The monarch took further notice that, anyone who falls victims of such purchase without the consent of the aforementioned authorised custodians does that at his/her own risk and any such trespasser(s) on any of the aforementioned parcels of land shall be prosecuted accordingly.
He said emphatically that, anybody who has any enquiry to make on the land should contact him for all pieces of information regarding the land.
