AIG Team Extends Gratitude to All Zones as Oyo NULGE Holds 8TH Quadrennial Delegates’ Conference Thursday
Ahead of the 8th Quadrennial Delegates Conference, the Authentic Integrity Group (AIG) Campaign Team of the Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Oyo State Chapter, embarked on a thank you tour across all zones to express appreciation for the unwavering support of delegates and members.

The tour, led by NULGE President Comrade Ayobami Olusegun Adeogun, fcpa, covered all zones in the state, including Ibarapa, Oyo, Ogbomoso, Oke-Ogun, Ibadan, the Oyo State Local Government Service Commission, the Oyo State Local Government Staff Pensions Board, and the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters.
During the visits, the AIG Campaign Team acknowledged the massive support from the political class, management, and workers of all local governments, local council development areas, and related ministries. Comrade Adeogun expressed his gratitude for the unprecedented support his team received, especially from the branch executives who serve as delegates in the upcoming conference.
He highlighted the team’s achievements since assuming office in 2021 and promised to build on their good work if re-elected. The AIG’s agenda for a second term is detailed in its four-page document, “Our Testimonies – Conceptual Framework for Second Term: Continuation of Our Team’s Transformative Leadership and Workforce-Centred Governance,” which outlines plans for further uplifting the entire workforce.
Local Government officials, including Executive Chairmen, Heads of Local Government Administration, and Branch Executives, praised Comrade Adeogun’s leadership and the notable achievements of his team.
In their separate speeches, they showered encomiums on the AIG for their transformative work and assured the team of their continued support in the forthcoming election. They expressed confidence that the AIG would emerge victorious at the conference.
The 8th Quadrennial State Delegates Conference is scheduled for Thursday, August 7, 2025, at the International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan, where delegates are expected to cast their votes. The AIG Campaign Team, in a statement signed by its Director-General, Comrade (Prince) Segun Adeyemo, concluded its tour with a renewed sense of confidence in securing another term to serve the union members.
