It was an atmosphere of honest conversation at the Olive Chamber of Hon. Barr. Adeniyi John Farinto in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State when representatives of leaders of the Peoples’ Democratic Party in Iwajowa Local Government led Alhaji Hon. Abdullahi Bola Azeez to cement his homecoming decision.

Kazeem Oladeinde HAMMED
Chief of Staff to the Council Area, disclosed this in a release signed and made available to acrossnigerianews.com

According to the statement, “Alhaji Abdullah Bola Azeez who just retired from the Local Government Service was a Former Caretaker Chairman of Iwajowa Local Government Area, and a stalwart not only because of his political background, but for his antecedents in just 11 months in Office in the year 2002”.
According to him, his coming to the Big party (PDP) was premised on an objective analysis of the past and present unprecedented developmental projects of the Peoples’ Governor Engr. Seyi Makinde FNSE and the replication of same at the Local Level by the Administration of Hon. Muritala Abiodun Oyewumi in Iwajowa”.

“Alhaji AB Azeez confirmed that the performance of PDP in Iwajowa is a foot in the door for him to join the party with full force and everyone in his political tentacles so as to assist in uprooting the remaining debris of the Opposition Party in ward 08 and Iwajowa at large”.
“Hon. Barr. Adeniyi John Farinto in his message, applauded Alhaji AB for his brave move to join the ruling party. He also made it known that the only leader of PDP as far as Oyo state and South West is concerned is our performing Governor, Engr. Seyi Abiodun Makinde, and whatever activities we may be doing must be tailored according to His plans and objectives”.

“Alhaji Kazeem Olatunji and Hon. Timothy Bolarinwa wholeheartedly welcomed Alhaji AB Azeez to the party. The duo shared their good encounter with him in his brief tenure as Caretaker Chairman in 2002 – that his coming is indeed a plus for us in our fold”, the statement concluded.
