A prominent youth advocate in Kajola Local Government Area of Oyo State, Mustapha Mufeed Adeola Dallax, has publicly called on the local government chairman, Hon. Akeem Mustapha(MUGATY) to address the dilapidated state of the government quarters situated opposite Damos filling station in Okeho.

In a statement posted on his Facebook page on Monday, May 12th, 2025, Dallax passionately appealed for the transformation of the currently moribund facility into a revenue-generating asset for the local government. He suggested several viable options for redevelopment, including the establishment of multipurpose halls, football viewing centers, and modern shopping complexes.
Dallax further emphasized the need to revamp the existing old shopping complex within the area, advocating for an upgrade to its aesthetic appeal. He also questioned the current monthly rent of #500 at the complex, deeming it outdated in the present economic climate.
Acknowledging potential financial constraints, the youth advocate urged the local government to explore a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) as a viable alternative to achieve these developmental goals.
Expressing his disappointment with the current state of affairs, Dallax stated, “We can’t continue recycling the same wine into different bottles and expecting different results. You have not made the Kajola local government proud.”

His public statement underscores a growing sentiment within the community for proactive measures to stimulate economic growth and improve infrastructure within Kajola Local Government. The call to action now rests with the local government chairman to respond to these concerns and consider the proposed avenues for development.
