Ranmilowo Microfinance Bank, Apinnite Area, Saki in Sakiwest Local Government Area of Oyo has hosted Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ Oke-Ogun Federated Chapel for 2024 maiden christmas Carol celebration.

The bank’s maiden christmas Carol Celebration which took place on Tuesday, 17th December amidst ecstasy and grandeur had in attendance of the Managing Director, Dr Ogunwale Sunday Adeniyi, staff members and members of NUJ, Oke-Ogun Federated Chapel respectively.
The epoch making occasion featured praise, worship, responsive reading, hymn, Bible reading, carol rendition and fervent prayers among others.
On Chairman’s opening remark, Comrade Sola Ailako, Vice Chairman of the chapel who spoke on behalf of Comrade Ismail Ogundeji welcomed all to the maiden edition of Christmas Carol hosted by Ranmilowo Microfinance Bank, Saki.

Comrade Ailako hinted that the maiden christmas Carol Celebration hosted by the bank had become memorable and historical event which already entered into the chapel’s book of record.
On Christmas Carol, he disclosed that, it is a scriptural celebration aimed at commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ, and however becomes the tradition of the chapel to felicitate the adherents of christianity in the zone on yearly basis.
On purpose of gathering, Comrade Khalid Imran, Secretary for the chapel, expatiated that the chapel has considered it important and necessary on yearly basis to celebrate the season of Christmas Carol with the Christians across the zone.
He added that this becomes important for notable action, as the chapel has truly acknowledged and admitted that, Nigeria is a secular state which her constitution makes provision for existence of both Islam and Christianity.
Comrade Imran noted that both Christmas Carol and Ramadan Lectures during Ramadan period are the two notable programmes which are considered significant to strengthen love, unity and togetherness among members of the chapel and other adherents of the two religions.
Dr. Ogunwale Sunday Adeniyi expressed joy over successful and hitch free programme that occurred for the first time in the history of the bank.

He thanked NUJ, Oke-Ogun Federated Chapel for considering them worthy for the unique occasion of the Christmas Carol and however promised that the next one would be by God’s grace held in their permanent site.
Mr Olusegun Fatope, the Head of the Bank Marketing Operation tasked the chapel to spread good news about the bank and however enjoined them to open bank accounts with the financial institution.
