Muslims in Nigeria and other countries in the world will on Thursday, November 23rd gather in Okeho, Kajola Local Government, Area of Oyo State for annual Islamic gathering known as ‘IJTIMAH’.
The religious gathering which will take place, along Ilua road, opposite National Open University Okeho will last for three(3) days, with effect from Thursday, November 23rd.
Hajj Miftaudeen Ballo, Amir for Shura Jammah(President, Gathering Committee) revealed that 2023 Annual IJTIMAH will be held at Okeho and it will last for three consecutive days.
Hajj Ballo maintained that, this year’s edition of Islamic gathering, holding at Okeho will involve Muslims coming from Ogbomoso, Oyo, Ibarapa and Oke-Ogun zones of Oyo State and others from different countries.
He added that, it was one and once annually across the federation earlier, but now on zonal levels because of population and desires to attain fruition of the engagement.
In a letter of special invitation, it was stated that, after the 3rd day, people will voluntarily go in path of Allah for 4 months, 40 days, 10 days to spread the teachings of Islam before returning to their various homes, Businesses, professions and occupations.
The letter reads further,”Human beings have been created for the worship of Allah alone and to establish His religion on this earth in the way shown by Prophet Muhammad (PBOH)”.
” For the success and salvation of the mankind in this life and the hereafter, Allah sent His messenger with a particular way of life and noble efforts of religion. Allah sent him as the last messenger to the entire world to spread the light of Islam.
” In the 23 years of his prophethood, he made a lot of efforts with sacrifices and perseverance to spread the light as much as he could”.
Adding that, ” With the same thinking, his companions, may Allah be pleased, with them left no stones unturned in propagating Al-Islam”.
” Alhamdulilah in the same vein, Allah made the work of Dawah incumbent on all Muslims, since we are the last Ummah”.
” With the aim of bringing the efforts to every individual, IJTIMAH(Gatherings) are organized in different countries. Insha-Allah, this year’s annual IJTIMAH will come up along Ilua road, opposite National Open University Okeho, Oyo State, from 23rd November, 2023 where Muslims from Nigeria and other countries will gather for 3 days”.
” You are honourably invited to this great great gathering of Muslims. We pray Allah to give us long life to participate in many IJTIMAH in this world”, the letter concluded.
