The Seriki Fulani of Oyo State, Iseyin General Marketers Association of Nigeria, Cattle Breeders & Dealers’ Association and Miyyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria(MACBAN) paid homage to the Aseyin of Iseyinland, Oba Sefiu Olawale Oyebola Ajirotutu1, Adeyeri III
The show of honour and allegiance to the reign of Oba Sefiu Olawale, which took place on Thursday, 28 December, 2023 was led by Seriki Fulani of Oyo State, Alhaji Yakubu Bello.
In his presentation, Alhaji Bello said, their visit to the place was at the instance of showing honour, support and allegiance to the new monarch.
He added that, since monarch had received the beaded crown and staff of office, they haven’t had the privilege to pay homage to the royal majesty.
Alhaji Bello pledged their support and cooperation to the monarch, and however prayed Allah to guide, guard and bless Oba Sefiu Olawale with wisdom and natural instinct to lead Iseyin to greater heights.
Mr Salami Musbau, Chairman, Yoruba Cattle Breeders and Dealers’ Association, substantiated the purpose of visit to the palace, maintaining that they would continue to ensure that Iseyin and its environs attain limitless progress and development.
Oloye Abiodun Abosede Olabisi Iyalaje who spoke on behalf of Iseyin General Marketers’ Association of Nigeria prayed for the monarch’s longevity, sound health, wisdom and prosperity to stay long on the throne of his forefathers.
Comrade Akinteru Akinsegun, MACBAN Patron hinted that the association would give the needed support and allegiance to the monarch.
In his appreciation, Oba Sefiu Olawale thanked them all for the homage, asking Alhaji Yakubu and others to ensure they maintain and sustain oneness, unity and cooperation that would make their associations stronger.
The monarch called for cooperation and support that would make his reign notable and move Iseyin forward.
