The new Executive Chairman, Iwajowa Local Government, Area of Oyo State, Hon. Muritala Abiodun Oyewumi also known as ‘Natural’ has assumed duty as the helmsman of the council area.

The new council boss, who was accompanied by his Vice, Hon. Waidi Bolanle Sanni and all the ten councillors seized the opportunity to familiarize with career officers and all members of staff of the Council.
According to the statement, “he was quoted in his address that “As we officially assumed duty today, permit me to seize this opportunity to crave for an overwhelming support from all members of staff of this Local Government Area. I believe with your support we can move an unmovable mountain”.
“The Chairman, Vice – Chairman and Councillors were conducted round the Secretariat by the Head of Local Government Administration and other top Officials. He promised to toe the path of His Excellency’s vision of better welfare for all Oyo State Civil Servants and replicate it here in Iwajowa”.
“As we all know that this dear Secretariat used to be first among its equal, but the level of deterioration here is nothing to shy away from. So, it is incumbent on us as a new administration to ensure a total rehabilitation of some buildings and offices so as to facilitate serenity for workers. But, I must state clearly that the era of coming to work according to one’s personal dictate as a staff is gone for good. This is the only way to appreciate His Excellency’s good gesture towards workers”.
