Oyo APC Gubernatorial Candidate in the last general elections, Senator Teslim Folarin, Member of Red Chamber in the National Assembly for Oyo North Senatorial District, Senator Fatai Buhari, Member of Oyo State House of Assembly for Kajola State Constituency, Hon. Musbau Azeez Action, APC State Secretary, Alhaji Tajudeen Olanite, State Party Publicity Secretary, Mr Wasiu Sadare, Oke-Ogun Zone 1 Leader, Alhaji Abu Adejare Gbadamosi, former Iseyin Council Boss, Alhaji Yusuff Adejare Alaran and ex Kajola Council Chairman, Hon. Salami Isiaka Obè have shown unflinching support to the party ahead of local government’s election that is slated for April 27.

The party leaders and stakeholders showed the solidarity at Oke-Ogun 1(Iseyin, Itesiwaju, Iwajowa, Kajola LGs) Zonal Rally and Flagg off held on Thursday, April 18 in Okeho, Kajola Local Government, Area of Oyo State.
In their separate discussions, Senator Teslim Folarin encouraged party members not to mind Governor Makinde’s overstatement that PDP would win all the 33 local governments and 351 wards across the state, asking them to troop out in mass and cast their votes for APC.
Senator Fatai Buhari tasked APC members across the four local governments making the federal constituency to make advantage of APC at Federal level to win the election.
Adding that the party has the numerical strength in Oyo State to clear all the chairmanship and councillorship seats in the state.
Hon. Musbau Azeez Action asked members of progressive party to have perfect perusal of the voters’ comprehensive list pasted at the respective polling units, hinting that they should report to the security agencies and party leaders, if they can’t find their names on election day.
Alhaji Tajudeen Olanite and Mr Wasiu Sadare who spoke on behalf of State Party Chairman, Hon. Isaac Omodewu enjoined APC members to look for their Permanent Voters’ Cards(PVCs) and vote for their candidates on April 27.
Alhaji Abu Adejare Gbadamosi asked people not to be intimidated by PDP’s threat, asking all members of APC to go out massively and cast their votes.
He noted that the election becomes so crucial, because it is a government that is closest to people at the grassroots.
Alhaji Hon. Yusuff Adejare Alaran used musical methods of passing pieces of information to the audience, reiterating in his song that people should vote all APC chairmanship and councillorship candidates at the poll slated for April 27.
Hon. Salami Isiaka Obe said he had victory in election that was conducted about 20 years ago, despite the fact that PDP was controlling Oyo State, asking people not to nurse any fear, but to summon courage to exercise their civic rights.
Alhaji Dauda Azuzu, the former commissioner for Works and Chairman, Oke-Ogun 1 Planning Committee said, they would ensure campaign continues in each local government before the date that is slated for the election.
Other speakers at the rally were Alhaji Rasak Arikewu(Iwajowa LG), Alhaji Sikirullah Osuolale(Itesiwaju LG), Alhaji Bolaji Kareem(Iseyin LG) and many others.
APC flags were presented to the Chairmanship Candidates, whose names include Hon. Prince Waliu Kolade Sunmonu(Kajola), Hon. Akeem Tijani(Iseyin), Hon. Uthman Amuda Adebanjo(Itesiwaju) and Hon. Gbenga Joseph Oguntoye(Iwajowa) respectively.
The event had in attendance of State Executive members of APC, state party leaders, leaders across the four local governments and teeming members respectively.
