Renowned Legal Luminary and Ex Oyo Commissioner for Budget and Planning, Barrister Adeniyi Farinto has been appointed as a member of Oyo People’s Democratic Party(PDP) State Election Management Committee to coordinate Oke-Ogun Zone 1( Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola Local Governments), while the current Commissioner for Establishment and Training, Hon. Niyi Adebisi will oversee Oke-Ogun Zone 2(Sakiwest, Sakieast, Atisbo, Irepo, Orelope and Olorunsogo LGs) as local government election approaches.
This is contained in a release signed by Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke, Secretary for Oyo State PDP, on constitution of list for State Election Management Committee.
According to him, “the Leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party in Oyo State after due consultation with the leader of the Party in Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde have appointed the belows names as member of the State Election Management Committee”.
“The Role of this very highly esteemed leaders will be to coordinate and oversee the processes and eventual happenings as it concerns the forthcoming Local Government Council Elections”.
