In preparation for the conduct of local government election, that is slated for Saturday, April 27, Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission(OYSIEC) said, distribution of sensitive materials to Oke-Ogun axis of the state would kick off on Thursday, April 25.
OYSIEC Chairman, Isiaka Abiola Olagunju disclosed this at the 2-day training for ad-hoc staff, which held in Ibadan and Oyo Town.
Olagunju maintained that the ten(10) local governments in Oke-Ogun would on Thursday receive the sensitive materials for the council poll.
Adding that the local governments in Ibadan would receive theirs last, after other zones had acknowledged the receipt of those materials.
It would be recalled that the OYSIEC had conducted training for the electoral and assistant electoral officers, ward collation officers, returning officers and supervisors respectively.
