Member of Oyo State House of Assembly, representing Iwajowa State Constituency, Hon. Anthony Ogunsola has facilitated an erection of solar lights to Iwere-Ile Divisional Police Headquarters.
An extension of gesture, which was done at the instance of illuminating the divisional police headquarters in Iwere-ile, the seat of Iwajowa Local Government took place on Friday, 9th February.
While speaking with acrossnigerianews.com, the lawmaker disclosed that the security of lives and property is so paramount to him, and that is why he ensured that the police men are not in darkness, sequel to epileptic supply of electricity.
In his appreciation, the DPO for Iwere-ile Divisional Police Headquarters, SP Babatunde Odebode appreciated the lawmaker’s gesture and however prayed for his attainment of more achievements.
In another vein, Aiyetoroile-born Lawmaker has set to sponsor the free viewership of Nigeria and Ivory Coast’s Final Match on Sunday, in the ongoing African Cup of Nations(AFCON) by the teaming youths in Iwajowa Local Government.
The selected 7 centres in the council area are Ayegun-Wasinmi, Ijio Township, Ilaji-Ile, Itasa, two centres in Iwere-Ile and Elekokan respectively.
Aside the above, he had previously made provisions for sport loving youths to watch the semi-final match between the Super Eagles and Bavanabavana of South Africa at two centres in Iwere-Ile township.
He said, “I appreciate the Hon. commissioner for Youths and Sport Oyo state, who had initially, through her coordinator, Mr Abiodun Obatoki, facilitated two centers : Bawase and Old Trafford Viewing Centers at Iganna township where quarter and semi-final matches were viewed”.
“Our youths at the above designated centres should troop out and support the winning team. I wish Super Eagles an outstanding victory on Sunday”.
He enjoined the constituents to be calmed and prayerful, as more dividends of democracy would be made available to all and sundry without sentiment.
