ACTION, a member representing Kajola State Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly stated that free, fair and credible elections remain the hallmark of true democratic governance anywhere in the world
ACTION who is the Vice Chairman, House Committee on Establishment, Training and Empowerment Programmes urged all stakeholders in the election to avoid actions that could breach peace of the society before, during and after the elections
The lawmaker also called on security agencies in the state to be committed to ensuring that peace reigns without compromising any act of lawlessness from any quarter
He asked media houses to follow due process and to avoid illegal announcement of results that are not officially declared by the state electoral body
Okeho-born politician was emphatic that the APC in Kajola Local Government Area and Oyo state as a whole would not accept rigging or any other form of electoral malpractices.
