Appeal has gone to both Federal and Oyo State Governments to expedite actions on establishment of Fire Service Station in Kajola Local Government.
Member of Oyo State House of Assembly, representing Kajola State Constituency, Hon. Musbau Azeez popularly known as ACTION made this appeal while in an exclusive interaction with acrossnigerianews.com
Okeho-born Politician hinted that the appeal for the establishment of Fire Service Station in Kajola Local Government becomes so crucial in order to save lives and properties while the phenomenon of fire outbreak occurs.
While lamenting on recent fire inferno in Okeho, the headquarters of the council area, Oyo Lawmaker lamented that the fire inferno that raced PALMPLUS recreation Centre and SIAM Filling Station would have been instantly controlled, if the fire service station had been in existence in Kajola LG.
He reiterated that the popular PALMPLUS would not have burnt to ashes, if the station had been located in the council area.
ACTION also noted that the grace which SIAM Filling Station received, was consequent upon intervention of Oyo Fire Service Outfit and firm people’s support.
He however sought support of Oyo State House of Assembly and Oyo State Government on expedition of action necessitating its establishment in the council area.
The Lawmaker proposed MTD Barracks, Olele Okeho as office for the fire services.
He however prayed that, Kajola LG, Oyo State and Nigeria would continue to experience growth and development in all ramifications.
