The People’s Democratic Party, PDP Chairmanship Candidate for Iseyin Local Government, Area of Oyo State, Hon. Rasaq Fadiran has pledged to run governance of inclusiveness, if elected at the council poll slated for April 2024.
Fadiran made this pledge while fielding questions from journalists, during 8-day Fidau prayer organized for the late socialite, Alhaji Waheed Atinuke In Iseyin on Wednesday, November 15.
Isalu-born politician who was once a Councillor and Secretary to Iseyin Local Government, said his coming for the seat of Council Chairman was going to be an added advantage to complement his track records of service.
He maintained that he knows the nooks and crannies of Iseyin Local Government, and he knows where shoe pinches the residents of each community in the council area.
He said, he would run governance that would embrace all and sundry, and which devoids of acrimony, nor sentimental feelings.
Fadiran promised to prioritise education, health, economy, road networks and other laudable projects that would make people feel and enjoy dividends of democracy.
In another vein, the PDP Chairmanship Candidate described the late socialite, Alhaji Waheed Atinuke as a mentor who would be sorely missed.
He said the deceased had during his lifetime used his influence and deep connections to assist people for the betterment of their lives.
He felt sad that a man of impeccable character, nobility and with sound ethos of Omoluabi has gone on a journey of no return.
Fadiran prayed Allah to be with the bereaved families and also bless the departed soul a blessed place in Aljanatul Fridaos
