The Elero of Ileroland, Kajola Local Government, Area of Oyo State, HRM Oba Wasiu Oyedele Saka has expressed sadness over the death of an indigene and strong community leader, Alhaji L.O Amuda.
The monarch in a release signed and made available to www.acrossnigerianews.com said his legacy and memory would longer for life.
According to the statement, “it is no more a gainsaying and indisputable fact that death is an inevitable phenomenon which every living soul will taste, but it becomes disheartening when it occurs to a being, whose values and importance to development of men and communities can’t be overemphasised”.
“I became sad, disheartened and devastated when I got the news of Alhaji L.O Amuda’s transition on a journey of no return”.
“Honestly, no amount of words nor expressions could qualify the personality of our departed community leader and exemplary Icon”.
“He was throughout of his lifetime a charismatic, energetic, patriotic, brilliant and excellent orator whose God’s given talents used for the development of Ilero and its environs”.
“Oh!. an ancient town of Ilero and Kajola Local Government has lost an Icon and Community leader per excellence, whose legacy and memories will linger for life”.
“Sincerely speaking, Alhaji L.O Amuda will be sorely missed in all ramifications, because he was a personality whose involvement felt in any assignment that was entrusted to his care”.
“I therefore use this medium to appeal to all entire indigenes of Ileroland and its environs to take solace in the fact that he came to this world at an appropriate time and he also left at a time approved by God almighty”.
“I pray Allah to give us all the fortitude to bear this painful loss and also place him to the best place of Aljanatul Fridaos”, Elero concluded.
