Ansarul Islam Society of Nigeria, Okeho Branch in Kajola Local Government Area of Oyo State is in state of preparedness towards the marking of her 20th Anniversary in the ancient town.
An Islamic Programme that is aimed at seeking assistance for completion of the mosque, is slated for Saturday, 23rd March, 2024 at LA Primary School, Olele Okeho, which begins at 10:00am Prompt.
Alhaji Imam Soliu Olawale Tijani, the Chief Host and Chief Imam of the Islamic Society in Okeho in an exclusive interaction with acrossnigerianews.com disclosed that the 20th Anniversary is to give thanks to Allah over 20 years which Jumat Prayer of AISN began in Okeho.
He maintained that the Islamic Society had its existence date back to 1997, but the programme coming up on Saturday is to celebrate and thanks Allah over 20 years which its Jumat Prayer had begun at Alhaji Shittu Oladejo’s mosque.
Chief Imam, who is also the Oyo State Missioner of the society said the programme was at the instance of turbaning some selected personalities, presenting awards to people and at large seeking assistance for completion of the mosque.
He called on invitees to the programme to ensure they throng the programme and also show their generosity to the purpose of engagement.
Among whom they are expecting at the programme are the Guest Lecturer, Ustadh Adam Mustopha Awayewasere, Sheiks in Islam to be led by Chief Imam of Okeho, Sheikh Sulaiman Totoola Olopoenia II, Roya Fathers to be chiared by Onjo of Okeho, HRM Oba Rafiu Mustopha Osuolale and many special guests among others.
He prayed for hitch free programme and mercy journey of all participants to the scheduled events.
