Nigeria Union of Journalists, (NUJ) Oke-Ogun Federated Chapel has commiserated with the family, Muslim Ummah, Tede People, Oke-Ogun and Oyo State on the demise of the Chief Imam of Tedeland, late Sheikh Tijani Adedigba.
Oke-Ogun Chapel mourned the late clergyman in a condolence statement jointly signed by the Chairman, Comrade Ismail Ogundeji, and the Secretary, Comrade Khalid Imran.
The duo expressed their sadness having heard about the demise of the noble and an iconic clergyman. The Chief Imam of Tedeland, Late Sheikh Tijani Adedigba.
According to their tribute, “Sheikh Adedigba was, during his lifetime, a man of substance, integrity, humility, empathy,courage,and credibility”.
“He was a good listener, peace-loving, kindhearted and resilient leader of exemplary qualities”.
Adding that, “these unique qualities earned him the prestigious position of the Chairman, League of Imams and Alfas, Oke-Ogun in general”.
“May God Almighty who made him an epitome of virtue overlook his shortcomings and grant him al-Janna Firdaoz.
May He grant us all the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss”, the statement concluded
