Aspirant for the Oyo State House of Assembly, Kajola State Constituency, under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Aleem Isa Ajibola Oyinlola, has extended warm felicitations to teachers in Kajola Local Government, Oyo State, and across Nigeria on the occasion of the 2025 World Teachers’ Day celebration.
In a goodwill message personally signed and made available to acrossnigerianews.com on Sunday, October 5, Oyinlola lauded teachers for their unwavering commitment, diligence, and sacrifices in shaping the future of society through knowledge and value impartation.
He described teachers as “the silent nation builders whose dedication continues to illuminate the path of learning and development for generations.”
While commending their resilience despite economic and infrastructural challenges, the Assembly hopeful prayed that their impactful efforts be rewarded abundantly.
“Our teachers remain the foundation upon which every successful nation is built. Their influence transcends classrooms, molding minds and nurturing dreams. I join millions of Nigerians to celebrate them for their immeasurable service to humanity,” he stated.
Hon. Oyinlola reaffirmed his commitment to supporting education and improving the welfare of teachers if elected, emphasizing that no society can thrive without adequately motivated and respected educators.
He further urged government at all levels to prioritize teachers’ welfare and provide the necessary tools and environment for effective teaching and learning.
World Teachers’ Day, celebrated annually on October 5, is a global occasion set aside to honour the contributions of teachers to education and development.
