The forum of Local Governments’ Vice Chairmen in Oke-Ogun axis of Oyo State had showered encomiums on Governor Seyi Makinde’s laudable leadership, administrative excellence and good governance in the state.
The meeting that was attended by all Vice Chairmen in Oke-Ogun held in Kajola Local Government on Friday, 23rd August where consensus formed on appointment of Hon. Dr Robert Adeniji(KajolaLG) as the Coordinator, Hon. Rasaq Morufu(Saki East) as the Secretary, Hon. Wasiu Adewale Babatunde(Oorelope LG) as the Treasurer, and Hon. Oladipupo Solomon(Iseyin LG) as as the Public Relations Officer.
They expressed gratitude to Governor Seyi Makinde, for his good governance and unwavering support shown during the last local government elections.
The Vice Chairmen equally appreciated the Governor for his support to Oke-Ogun on construction of roads across the region, and however reminded him on promise made on rehabilitation of Okeho- Iganna road, Alaga – Idiko-Ile road, Iseyin – Igbo-Ora and Ogbooro – Saki road respectively.
They extended congratulations to the Deputy Governor of the state, Barr. Bayo Lawal on his appointment as Acting Governor, and moreover eulogised his fatherly role in Oke-Ogun zone.
In his appreciation, Kajola Local government’s Vice Chairman and forum’s Coordinator in Oke-Ogun expressed heartfelt gratitude to the host Chairman, Hon. Barr. Akeem Olawale Mustapha for his support in all ramifications.
