Hon. Kola Olabiyi, Chief Financial Officer of FGN Power Company Limited and former member of the 7th National Assembly, has extended his felicitations to the Muslim community on the occasion of Ramadan, urging them to utilize the holy month for introspection and collective prayer for the nation.
In a statement released to acrossnigerianews.com, Olabiyi emphasized the spiritual significance of Ramadan as a period for deepening one’s connection with the divine and fostering compassion towards fellow human beings.
He called upon Nigerians to seize this opportunity to supplicate for betterment, progress of Nigeria and attainment of unprecedented achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.
“As we observe Ramadan, let us remember the importance of unity, compassion, and kindness,” Olabiyi stated.
“Let us use this opportunity to come together and promote peace, understanding, and harmony in our community.”
He further underscored the importance of charitable giving during Ramadan, urging those with resources to extend
their generosity to less privileged members of society.
“This period of fasting is also a period that those who are privileged and blessed with resources should extend the good hands of fellowship to their neighbours and others who are not so privileged. This tradition must be emphasized,” he said.
Olabiyi concluded by wishing the Muslim community a successful Ramadan, expressing his hope that the holy month will usher in peace and development for Nigeria.
