Muritala Abiodun Oyewumi, Executive Chairman of Iwajowa Local Government Area of Oyo State, has expressed condolences on behalf of the local government and its residents following the death of retired Reverend Monsignor Emmanuel Mobolaji Yakubu. Monsignor Yakubu passed away on February 7, 2025, after a brief illness.

“His passing leaves a significant void in the community. The government and people of Iwajowa Local Government acknowledge and appreciate the impactful life he lived and offer their prayers for the repose of his soul”, the statement concluded.
