The Executive Chairman, Iwajowa Local Government Area of Oyo State, Hon. oyewumi Muritala Abiodun has extended heartfelt congratulations to Comrade Hammed Solomon Babatunde(Smooth )on his assumption of office as the newly elected Chairman, Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Iwajowa branch.
The Council Boss, felicitated the new NUT boss in a release made available to acrossnigerianews.com via the Chief of Staff to the local government, Hon. Hammed Kazeem Oladeinde.
Hon. Oyewumi described Smooth’s success at the just concluded election as a testament to his diligence, uprightness and impeccable character.
He charged him to leverage on prerequisites and notable qualities that made him the new leader of teachers in the council area.
He wished him well and prayed for success as he assumed office for the tasks ahead.
It would be recalled that the new NUT Chairman was the former President, Federation of Iganna Students Union(FISU) and Nigeria Association for Physical & Health Education, Recreation, Sports and Dance(NAPHER-SD), University of Ibadan Chapter.
