Member of the House of Representatives, representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola Federal Constituency, Oyo State has expressed deepest condolences to the families of victims and Oyo State Government over tragic loss that involved children in the stampede which occured on Tuesday, 18th December at Muslim High School, Bashorun, Ibadan.

According to the statement,”it is with a heavy heart and deep sorrow that I, Hon. Oyeshina Oyedeji, Member of the Federal House of Representatives, representing Iseyin, Itesiwaju, Kajola, and Iwajowa Federal Constituency, extend my deepest condolences to the families who have tragically lost their beloved children in the stampede that occurred on Tuesday, 18th December 2024, at Muslim High School, Bashorun, Ibadan”.
“The incident, which occurred during a charitable event for 5,000 children, has left the entire Oyo State in shock and mourning. My thoughts are with the grieving parents and loved ones of the children who lost their lives in this unfortunate incident. The loss of innocent lives is a heart-wrenching tragedy that no words can fully capture”.
“i also wish to express my condolences to the Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, as well as the entire people of Oyo State, for this devastating event. As a father and representative of the people, I understand the deep emotional impact this tragedy has on our community, and I join in mourning the lives lost”.
