The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer(CEO), Agbalaowo Travels & Tours, Alhaji Waheed Shittu Owonikoko and Oke-Ogun Traditional Rulers offered prayers for the creation of Oke-Ogun State, development of the zone and against all forms of insecurities among others.
They said the prayers while mounting Mountain Arafat in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, in compliance with Hajj rite for 2024 equivalent to 1445 Islamic Calendar.
Among the Oke-Ogun Traditional Rulers who participated in the joint prayers are Elero of Ileroland, HRM Oba Wasiu Oyedele Saka, the Onigbeti of Igbetiland, HRM Oba Bashir Olalekan Abioye and Onisanbo of Ogbooroland, HRM Oba(Engr) Kazeem Adio Adegboye respectively.
Alhaji Waheed Shittu Owonikoko in a chat with acrossnigerianews.com disclosed that they collectively prayed for the creation of Oke-Ogun, betterment of all illustrious sons and daughters of the zone, and against all forms of insecurities that connect with kidnappings, banditry, armed robberies and others.
He prayed Allah to make Hajj 2024 easy for all that are performing the religious rites and grant them safe return to their various destinations.
