The former Chairman, Iseyin Local Government, Area of Oyo State, Hon. Waheed Mobolaji Adeleke has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the former Governor of Pacesetter State, Oba Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja on his attainment of 80 years of age.

While in a memory lane, Hon. Adeleke hinted that the crucial roles which he played between 2004-2007 political dispensation, while he was the Council Chairman can’t be forgotten in a hurry.
He maintained that he stood firmly to defend the democratic process during and after local government election in 2004, applauding him that he is a true democratic who never interfered into how he conducted business in the Council Area.
He added that, despite the fact that he was elected under the platform of Alliance for Democracy (AD), and he(Ladoja) ruled as a PDP Govermor, noting that his painstaking efforts to sustain him against tremendous pressure put on him by his party (PDP) then, remains a sweet memorable experience.
Iseyin-born politician reiterated that the happenings then, had become history today, but a rare gift which he would appreciate for ever.
As Oba Ladoja becomes an octogenarian, Hon. Adeleke prays for sound health, prosperity, peace of mind and longevity to attain the most exalted position of Ibadanland.
