As Muslims in Nigeria and across the globe celebrate the Eid el Kabir, the Sabiganna of Iganna Kingdom and Chairman, Traditional Council in Iwajowa Local Government, Area of Oyo State, HRM Oba Saliu Azeez Oyemonla has admonished all regardless of religious dichotomies to prioritise generosity, compassion and sacrifices.

The Monarch dwelt much on compassion, generosity and total sacrifices which should be imbibed by all regardless of adherence and affiliation to religions.
He maintained that when people could imbibe the spirit of those antidotes, there is possibility that happiness and joy that know no limit would be extended to all regardless of status in the society.
On occasion of Eid el Adha, the Chairman, Traditional Council in Iwajowa LG, expatiated that the Islamic festivity cannot be completely discussed without much emphasis on Prophet Ibrahim(PBOH) and his obedient and submissive son(Ismail).
He added that Prophet Ibrahim(PBOH) endured and also maintained uncommon faith as a result of his barrenness, and the only son whom he had at later date also succumbed to sacrifice in obedience to pledge made to Allah.
He however charged all Muslims and adherents of other religions to maintain strong faith, endurance and perseverance on whatever tribulation and circumstances which they may be passing through.
He hinted that he who endures pains would earn comfort at the end, and he who runs away from it may not have positive story to tell.
The Monarch however used the occasion of yuletide to pray for success of all illustrious sons and daughters of Iganna Kingdom, home and in Diaspora, Iwajowa local government, Oke-Ogun and Oyo State as a whole.
He extended his greetings and best wishes to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Seyi Makinde on their concerted efforts to attain unprecedented feats as the duo continue to lead the Federal and State Governments.
Oba Sabiganna asked people to celebrate in line with compliance of the festivity and however shun acts that may mar the celebration.
He said Eid el Mubarak, praying that the happiness and joy that accompany the yuletide would not elude anybody.
