As adherents of Christianity celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, member of Oyo State House of Assembly representing Iwajowa State Constituency, Hon. Anthony Ogunsola has extended warmest felicitations to them on auspicious occasion of the festivity.
The Lawmaker cheered the Christian Faithful on completion of lent, which had preceded the current celebration.
Ayetoro-Ile-born Lawmaker in a congratulatory statement which he made available to acrossnigerianews.com, cheered the Christians on Easter yuletide and their perseverance throughout of the lent period.
The Parliamentarian who centred his message on ‘ reflection of the teachings of Jesus Christ’ noted that the period preaches everything in connection with life and death of Jesus Christ.
The Chairman House Committee on Solid Minerals Development maintained that the Christians are to learn and reflect on exemplary life of Jesus Christ.
He hinted that His life dwelt much on unity, love, togetherness, kindness and spread of evangelism in order to save lives from the wrong paths.
He noted that Jesus Christ became exemplary, Icon and rare Spiritual Gem, sequel to
his uncommon preachings and practical demonstrations of what He preached.
Ogunsola asked the Christians to do away from hypocrisy, sentiment, hatreds and backbiting which he acknowledged as sins in the sight of God.
He however enjoined them to use the occasion of the Easter yuletide to pray for success of all leaders and betterment of Oyo State and Nigeria at large.
Reiterating his appeal on prayers towards eradication of banditry, kidnappings, terrorism, and relief to all Nigerians on current hardship which had subjected many to abject poverty.
Ogunsola asked them to celebrate moderately and completely refrain from acts which should not be found of men of impeccable character, praying that this celebration would be easy for all and sundry.
