Lauds Proprietor’s Vision on School’s Establishment

A wave of excitement has swept through Okeho, Kajola Local Government Area of Oyo State as community leaders warmly embraced the newly established Impressive College of Nursing Sciences(ICONS) in the community.

Community Leaders embraced and threw weight behind the cital of learning while on an inspection tour in its premises located at KM 1 Moshra Garden along Iseyin road.

They said, the institution, a testament to Dr Quadri Abdul-Fatai’s (proprietor’s) visionary leadership, is poised to not only elevate the healthcare sector but also significantly impact the socio-economic landscape of the ancient town and its environs.

The inspection tour attended by Chief Adedokun Bolanle, The Baale of Ebi, Mr Ayorinde, Vice Chairman, Okeho Indigenous Association, Mr B.B. Oladepo, Ex Chairman, Okeho Indigenous Association, and Deacon S.S. Ijaola, Retired Head of Local Government Administration(HLGA) respectively expressed their profound gratitude for the proprietor’s initiative.

Ayorinde said, “this college is a beacon of hope for our youths and a valuable asset to our town, Kajola Local Government and Oke-Ogun and Oyo State as a whole “.

“The dearth of qualified nursing professionals has been a pressing concern for years. This institution will not only address this critical shortage but also provide our young people with excellent career opportunities.”

Mr B.B Oladepo maintained that ‘the establishment of the College of Nursing Sciences is a significant milestone for several reasons which he justified as follows:

“It will contribute to the enhancement of healthcare services in the region. With a growing population and an increasing demand for quality healthcare, the need for well-trained nursing professionals has never been greater”.

“The college will play a crucial role in producing a skilled workforce that can meet the evolving healthcare needs of the community and beyond the college will offer numerous economic benefits to the region.

“It will create employment opportunities for local residents, both as faculty and staff. Moreover, the influx of students from various parts of the country will boost the local economy by stimulating demand for goods and services.

“The college will contribute to the intellectual and social development of the community. By providing access to quality education and fostering a vibrant academic environment, the institution will create a hub of intellectual activity that will benefit not only students but also the broader community.

He said, “the proprietor’s vision for the college is truly commendable. Dr Quadri Abdul-Fatai recognized the critical need for skilled healthcare professionals and took the initiative to establish this institution. Abdul-Fatai’s commitment to excellence is evident in the state-of-the-art facilities, the experienced faculty, and the rigorous academic programs offered by the college.

“The college is equipped with modern laboratories, well-stocked libraries, and comfortable student housing.

” The faculty comprises experienced and qualified professionals who are dedicated to providing students with the best possible education. The curriculum is designed to be both rigorous and comprehensive, ensuring that graduates are well-prepared to excel in their chosen careers”.

Dr. Quadri Abdul-Fatai who is also Proprietor said, ” the establishment of the College of Nursing Sciences is a testament to the power of vision and the importance of community development. It is a project that will undoubtedly have a lasting positive impact on the lives of countless individuals and the community as a whole”.

“As the college continues to grow and thrive, it will serve as a shining example of how education can transform communities and improve the quality of life for all”, Abdul-Fatai maintained.

He however extended heartfelt gratitude to all the community leaders for their show of unwavering support and commitment aimed at making the school waxes stronger.
