No fewer than fifty five(55) widows and two hundred and fifty(250) less privileged benefited from Centre For Islamic Purification In Nigeria, CIPURN’s philanthropic gesture of N550K and food stuffs among others.
The donation of cash to the widows and distribution of food stuffs to the less privileged by CIPURN, took place on Sunday, 26th November at MTD Barracks, Olele Okeho, Kajola Local Government, Area of Oyo State.
CIPURN in its magnanimity, generosity and in line with the purpose of establishment shared the sum of N550K among 55 widows, and while food stuffs were distributed to about 250 less privileged.
Among the widows who benefited N10K each, were Madam Awakan Abigail and Mrs Rofiat Rashidi , while some beneficiaries of food stuffs were Adedokun Rizkat and Abibat Oriade.
In their appreciation, they thanked CIPURN’s founder for coming to their aid via donation of cash for their survival.
They prayed God almighty to grant him longevity and continue to guide and guard him on his stance to propagate Islam and care for the poor and needy.
Guest Lecturer, Sheikh Musa Folorunso Tijani in his lecture called on well to do in Islam to ensure that alms are constantly giving to the poor and the needy.
Sheikh Tijani maintained that, giving assistance of any kind to the less privileged ones in the society is an act of worship, which would no doubt be rewarded here and here after.
He reiterated that, feeding and putting smiles on the faces of the poor and needy, remains a fundamental path which Allah will also reciprocate to bless the donors in return.
In another vein, Guest Lecturer congratulated the founder of CIPURN, Alhaji Qazeem Busari Awelenje and other stakeholders on 28th anniversary of the organization’s existence.
He said, CIPURN’s stance and readiness to put smiles on the poor and needy was a religious sacrifice and selfless efforts which Allah would reward in many folds, both in this world and hereafter.
According to the founder, he said, he was grateful to God almighty that his vision and mission on CIPURN came to fruition.
Alhaji Awelenje maintained that it was Allah alone Who assisted His work on caring for, and giving financial assistance to the less privileged in the society.
He equally showered encomiums on people who donated financial resources and food items to make CIPURN continues to achieve its purpose.
He prayed Allah to bless all the donors and grant their both open and secret prayers.
