In a move demonstrating his commitment to community welfare beyond the political arena, Hon. Bolarinwa Abdulwasiu Ajibola (Mayload), an aspirant for the Kajola State House of Assembly Constituency, has announced a series of humanitarian visits to hospitals within the Local Government Area.
The initiative, driven by a desire to provide succour to residents facing health-related financial burdens, is explicitly non-political.

The outreach is set to cover four key medical facilities in the constituency:
- General Hospital, Okeho
- Baptist Medical Center, Isemi-ile Road, Okeho
- Kajola Muslim Hospital, Ayetoro Oke
- Achievers Hospital, Ilero
Hon. Ajibola emphasized that the primary purpose of the visits is to offer moral support and modest relief to patients and their families.
“My commitment to public service is driven by a deep desire to alleviate the hardships faced by our people, especially during challenging times,” Hon. Ajibola stated. “True leadership is about serving the community quietly and compassionately, especially when people are mostly in need.”
The humanitarian visits will encompass three key actions:
- Encouragement and Engagement: Spending time to listen to the concerns of willing patients and offering words of encouragement.
- Distribution of Essential Relief: Providing essential items such as hygiene kits, fruits, and nutritional supplements to aid in patient recovery and well-being.
- Financial Assistance: Offering modest financial assistance to help individuals in critical need cover incidental expenses associated with their medical care.

To ensure the sanctity of the healing environment, the aspirant’s team has committed to rigorous ethical guidelines, making it unequivocally clear that the visits are not political campaign events.
The following protocols will be strictly observed:
- No Political Campaigning: There will be a complete absence of campaign materials, political flyers, or public sloganeering.
- Patient Privacy: All hospital protocols regarding patient privacy and consent will be strictly adhered to.
- Infection Control: Interactions will be discreet, compassionate, and conducted in full compliance with infection control guidelines.
This initiative is seen by many community members as a commendable demonstration of empathetic leadership, prioritizing the direct needs of the community during a vulnerable time.
Hon. Bolarinwa Abdulwasiu Ajibola (Mayload) has pledged to continue supporting the community through various initiatives, viewing these acts of service as fundamental to his dedication to the people of Kajola.
